Student Volunteers

We need volunteers!

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic student volunteers to assist with the conference activities. The student volunteers will have an opportunity to interact with senior mercury scientists and other students while providing a valuable service in helping the conference run smoothly for everyone. Students volunteers will assist in the concurrent, plenary and/or poster sessions.

The expected time commitment for each student is approximately four hours during the conference (i.e., the equivalent of two sessions).

To sign-up, check the box for student volunteers in the online registration (open April 15th). Student volunteers will receive a $100 discount on their registration fees. The number of volunteers is limited to 35 and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis through the registration process, so make sure you register early.

After registration, volunteers will be contacted by e-mail to coordinate assignments. Conflicts with oral or poster presentations will be accommodated but volunteers are expected to be available for any of the weekdays of the conference.

Thanks for volunteering and looking forward to seeing you in Halifax!
